First Aid for Parents and Carers

Our course is designed with the home environment in mind, and also with the important knowledge that if your own child becomes unwell or a life threatening situation occurs some people just PANIC.

Our Trainers are Parents themselves and know what is needed

to give vital assistance in the first minutes

after an emergency incident.

The course covers:

·        Assessment of Danger

·         Anatomical difference between children and adults

·         Basic Life Support - Resuscitation

·         Recovery Position

·         Head Injuries

·         Choking

·         Meningitis

·         Asthma

·         Febrile Convulsions

and other important issues including :

Parental administration of medicines

This course is 3 or 4 hours in length and includes practical resuscitation on  adult, Child and Infant mannequins
